You need an Origins account, the native launcher, and the supported ArcheAge client. The guides explain each step.

    Create your account

    Choose your username and confirm your email address. Use the same account for the website and the launcher.

    Install the launcher

    Install the native launcher for Windows or Linux. On Linux, use a version of Proton installed through Steam.

    Prepare your client

    Select your ArcheAge r208022 client folder. Use Update or Repair in the launcher to prepare the game files.

What is ArcheAge Origins?

Origins is an independent ArcheAge private server project. The project is in pre-release, so game content and server behavior can change.

Can I use Windows or Linux?

The native launcher supports Windows and Linux. The game client uses Steam Proton on Linux. Read the setup guide for the full steps.

How do I get the game client?

The launcher opens the supported client download in your browser. Select the client folder after the download. Origins uses the ArcheAge r208022 client.

Do I need a separate game account?

No. Create an Origins account and confirm your email on this website. Then use the same username and password in the launcher.

Are credit purchases available?

The credit shop shows current purchase options and availability. Use the same Origins account on the website and in the launcher.
